- Topic: "The Rise and Fall of Multiwire: The story of an ill-fated alternative to multilayer circuit boards," by Jerry Brown of Essex Systems, Huntington, NY.
- Multiwire is the trade name for an early competitor to conventional multilayer boards which relied on insulated copper wire (magnet wire) as the primary interconnection medium. The history of this process and some of the technical challenges that defeated it will be discussed.
