Recently, ransomware or the encryption virus has become a major threat to computer systems. The systems suffering these attacks become either locked up or their data files become inaccessible due to encryption by the attackers. The attackers then request a ransom in exchange for being able to unlock the systems or retrieve the files.
A reminder to please join us for a lecture, “Ransomware Virus Discussion” by Howard Edelman, of Edelman Business Systems, Garden City, NY. CEU arrangements have been made for this presentation.
