So, let’s look at some. A reminder to please join us for “Smart Homes” by George Sullivan, retired Adjunct Professor at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering.
We will meet Thursday, November 1st at 7PM. The meeting will be held at LIU-Post Campus, Lorber Hall, 720 Northern Boulevard, Brookville, NY 11548.

Visitors are cordially welcomed and admission is free and open to the general public.
CEU arrangements have been made for this presentation. There is a $10 fee for CEU processing. That fee can only be accepted by check (not cash) made payable to The IEEE Consultants Network of Long Island.

This lecture presents technical, design, and operational considerations regarding the development of smart homes. Sensors, actuators, controls (hardware and software), emerging standards, environment, connectivity, security, monetization, surveillance and other issues as they apply to household and adjacent areas will be covered.
