Carl Meshenberg notes that with the closing of Grumman, membership in the Long Island Section has declined and that the section is 
looking for ways to boost membership.              

Carl Meshenberg also notes that the IEEE requires a minimum of two meetings per year of affinity groups and that LICN has been 
going way higher than that.

Andy Baxt asked for volunteers to administer the new LICN website. Three persons have volunteered for that. They are Dave Rost, 
Chris Early and John Dunn.

Dave Rost asks that any members who have not gotten recent Vonage messages should let him know.

Membership fees are due in December. 

The slate of candidates for LICN offices is unchanged from last month.
