LICN Monthly Meeting
Meeting Minutes – June 3, 2015 
	
I. Administrative   
a. Attendees: 40, 17 members and 23 guests per the attendance sheet.  

b. Our treasurer, Dave Rost stated that we have 30 full members and 3 Associates.  . 
c. The current Treasury account stands at $9521.  

d. The LICN website continues under development and improvement.  Andy Baxt asked for volunteers to assist with that 
   effort.   We want to look at various ways to improve traffic to the website.   There was a suggestion from the floor 
   to try to improve the LICN presence on social media such as LinkedIn and FaceBook (the suggestion was preceded by a 
   not quite “tongue in cheek” comment about the average age of the members and that we might not appreciate how much 
   communication takes place via social media).  

e. Chris Early asks for all members to RSVP via meetup.com when the meeting notice messages arrive.

f. The July meeting topic is TBD. 

g. The meeting began with each all attendees giving the usual ~30sec skills summary.

II. Discussion - 
a. Meeting topic was “Onerous contracts”, presented by Chris Early.   Chris provided an interesting and lively 
   review of the various contractual clauses that may be inserted into a consulting contract, how to deal with them 
   and suggested alternative wording.  A very lively give and take with the audience took place during the presentation. 
   Chris will be posting his PPT slides on the website in the near future.  

III. Meeting ended about 9:00.
