LICN Meeting

7:00 business meeting starts. 7:30 Presentation begins..

  • at Briarcliffe College, 1055 Stewart Avenue, Bethpage, NY
  • Topic: "An Experiment in How We Think," by Murray Kleiner, of Murray Kleiner Associates, Inc. Plainview, NY
  • The format will be an interactive discussion. Murray will present a number of topics for discussion. Each person attending the meeting will be considered to be both an experimenter and an experimental subject. The object of the exercise is to help participants answer the following questions about themselves.
    1. Am I an entrepreneur?
    2. Am I an innovator?
    3. Am I a risk Taker?
    4. Am I willing to fail?
    5. How does culture affect me?

Possible topics are:

  1. Would you invest $100M in an electric car venture?
  2. Would you have signed the Declaration of Independence and if you had signed it, would you have done what George Washington did?
  3. What employment survival skills would you suggest to a young person just beginning his/her career?

Free and no pre-registration is required.
